Brand new diecast model of Triumph TR6 Trophy Motorcycle Dark Green (Weathered) "The Great Escape" (1963) Movie die cast model by Corgi. Limited edition. Brand new box. Detailed exterior. Real rubber tires. Officially licensed product. Does not have any openings. Comes in a collector's display box. Manufacturer's original unopened packaging. Made of diecast metal with some plastic parts. Dimensions approximately L-6.625 inches long. The tense scene is one of the most iconic in Hollywood, shot 60 years ago and continuing to delight film fans to this day. The Triumph itself was sold to a farmer, who used it to herd cattle before abandoning it in a barn. In the Great Escape, after escaping the maximum-security unit at Stalag Luft III, prisoner of war Captain Virgil Hilts steals a German army motorcycle and makes his bid for freedom. The modified Triumph Trophy TR6 races to the Swiss border with German soldiers in pursuit. After it effortlessly clears one barbed wire fence, soldiers shoot down the motorcycle and capture Hilts again.
